take a test light and check the prongs on the 4 way plug such as blinkers and running lights. see if you have power to their to determine if it is the truck or the trailer

Most light problems with trailer lights relate to the ground. If there's rust on the trailer where the lights are mounted, try taking them off and sanding the holes where they're connected. Make sure the main ground for the trailer up near the tongue (bumper pull) or gooseneck is secure.

If that doesn't resolve any of the issues, use a test light on your truck and make sure you have power at the plug. Work your way back from there. Look for any splices and test power on both sides of the splice.

Check the bulbs.

Check your fuses under the steering column AND under the hood.

Let us know if this gets you going.

Check the truck first. Pretty quick with a test light, no sense in checking all your grounds and running around if a couple minutes on the truck will tell you if it's the trailer or truck.

ok next you need to check the wires before it goes to the plug under the truck with your test light. yellow will be left turn and green will be right turn. this will tell you if your even getting power for the turn signals
