best tire set up for DJM drop

just ordered the front 3" drop to match my 5" rear and was wondering what the best "sport touring" tire combo I can run would be. I have heard of people dropping down to load range D tires but i would prefer to just stick with load range E (somewhere in the 235/85-16 range if not slightly shorter) I would appreciate not being "flamed" for wanting to go low and slow seeing as i have a 1971 Dino for "going fast" i just want a nice sleeper set up and nobody takes a lowered 1-ton SC/LB diesel serious anyway

I can't help you with tire size since I have a dually, but I would love to see pictures of your truck once you get the front done since as soon as I get my truck back I'm installing a 3/5 kit on my truck

once i figure out the tire situation i will be installing and will be sure to post pictures. right now the truck is only leveled and the stock height tires still clear but it will rub if lowered as is.

I ran a toyo proxes st II on the silver truck in my sig. It was the only sporty tire tread I could find designed for a truck. Btw my truck had a 295/40/20 on all four corners with a 3/5 drop.

I ran 285/50R20 on the front and 305/50R20 on the rear in Cooper H/T Plus on my 2wd truck.

Sweet! I'm glad I could help. These toyos are holding up really well too. You will be pleased with them.
