Smoked LED Tails? Newer model headlights?

Howdy,
Have a cracked tail light and its starting to take on some water

Was lookin for anyone with a white '00 f250 and some smoked LED tail lights. dont know how its gunna look.

Also, if i get some newer headlights (maybe 02-03) without the ugly amber is it the same bulb numbers? Dont want to get new HID's if i dont have to.

Any help and pictures would be a huge help.

headlight bulb is the same. turn signal is same number but add a letter(i think A) to the end for the amber instead of clear. the newer clear headlights helped mine alot plus it looks better

Personally I would just upgrade to 05-07 headlights and 08+ tailights. They look a lot better and prices really aren't that different. There are quite a few writeups here on how to install em. Pretty simple.

You never have to get HIDs. That's something some ppl add.

I already have HID's just want to make sure the new headlight has the same socket for the bulb so i dont have to get another set

I had a HID kit in my 99, i put 04 headlights in it and it is the same bulb socket. i had to switch a couple clips over from the old lights to make the new ones work, but it looks way better.

Just wanted to warn you about HeadlightsDepot.com as I've had mixed results with them. One set of headlights was great. The other set were manufacturer defects. Not only did I lose the original purchase amount, but when I got a RA# and sent the headlights back I lost what I paid for the return shipping as well. I kept calling to try and get my refund for the lights (not the shipping). Never happened. Their customer support is some of the worst. So if you buy their products, just hope that they are good out of the box. Otherwise, you're probably screwed. Just a FYI.
