Cab Light Question

Just insalled cab lights this weekend and had a quick question about an issue i ran into... With the cab lights all snugged up (pretty dang tight) there is still a gap between the roof and the plastic on the light housing. The foam seal is in full contact with the roof and doens't leak a drop, it just looks kinda goofy with a gap and im not talking a big gap maybe a 1/16" Some have the gap in the front and some in the back of the light... I don't get it any one else run into this problem?

Ill try to get pictures of it later on today

Is it Motorcraft parts? I was plan on install cab lights. I have seen a few people complaining about other brand name doesn't sit or fit right. Like for example gap between roof and cab lights. I think if I was going to install cab lights, I will stick with Motorcraft parts. So I know they will fit right.

yup, OEM motorcraft marker lights. Idk i just found it weird that they didn't sit flush on the roof. I can push them down by hand and they are perfect. just cant tighten them up anough to hold them flush with the bolts

Hmm... that's weird. I would assume that they should fit good.
