Painted grille

I was thinkin about painting my 05 grille like the 99-03 style grille but was just wanting some opinions or maybe a photoshop pic of what it'd look like. What do y'all think?

What do you paint it with. The fake chrome on mine is peeling and I was thinking about painting it. How do you strip the fake chrome too?

I rid my truck of chrome bumpers with paintable ones and also had my stock chrome grill painted. I believe the body shop very lightly sand blasted the chrome on mine from a good distance and then primed/painted it. came out great.

SS4MATT- Your truck looks sick! I have thought about paint my grille and door handles but my grille is aftermarket and everything is in one piece. Chrome starts to fall apart and I thought about take it to body shop and have it paint it to match the color I want.

I painted mine today. I sanded it to rough it up and used the bed liner spray paint on it.
