need help!!! electrical confusion

so i am trying (again) to wire up the recon xtreme amber scanning tailgate bar and after spending my first hour looking for the wire under the dash (ignition) i gave up on that now im another hour into trying to figure out which wire on the 7 plug is a constant 12v + can anyone help with this im an idiot with electrical....


instructions say to plug there harness into the 4 plug then hardwire the white wire to the backup light (doesnt say which wire it is though) and the red to a constant 12v.... i am totally lost in this and its accually my second attempt ive now invested over 6 hours into this "plug and play" lightbar between looking at factory wiring diagrams (may as well be in latin) and searching this forum.

its a 2000 f250 lariat
