How much did you pay to paint your truck.

Thinking on getting my truck painted and wanted to get an idea of what to expect. I know body work will be different for truck to truck. Thanks

The best price I have is $1900 for mine. I have 6 or 7 door ding type dents to fix and some cracking (crows feet) in the driver side doors. This quote is from a local One Day. I went there because I hear they paint the Police cars here when they need repair so they are familiar with black paint. That price includes color sanding, buffing and 5 year warranty.

I just paid 2k that was door jams full paint removing all molding,mirrors , lights etc

Just remember, a paint job (similar to most "service industries") are a "you get what you pay for" generally.

I worked out a bit of a labor trade with a friend of mines dad who owns a body shop, and it worked out to about $3000 for a bunch of rust repair (door bottoms, both bed sides, and new bumpers all painted up) all in all, the only thing left on my truck that's factory paint is the hood, roof and drivers fender. and the hood will be getting done sometime this summer as well!

I'm not sure where you all live an what the cost of living etc is there but I got my limo (4d, lb) painted for $2,800.00 which was done as a favor. Which was an excellent price for the Tampa Bay area. Most places I went to as a regular customer wanted $4k standard repaint and up to $10k for show quality.
