Lower valance/plastic guard removal on front bumper?

Who has this done? Ive seen pics on forums were the grey plastic guard over the bumper is removed, and it looks great. 99-04 truck

Not a bad idea, kinda cleans up the lines of the truck alil bit and makes the front end better i do believe
