Post your painted grilles!

Well, I finally got around to painting my grille and thought it'd be nice to have a thread with pictures of painted grilles.

Mine was in pretty rough condition and the gray inserts were all faded and chipped. I used spray paint. I sanded and wash it, then I did 2 coats of adhesion promoter, 3 coats of black, and 2 coats of clear. It definitely makes the truck look newer. Also defines the front a bit more by making the chrome pop out more. I would definitely recommend it.

Oh, and I'm planning on getting a 2005 grille in the future, but this was a $25 fix to hold me off until then.

My HIDs look way more colorful than they actually are in this picture. They are 6000k's.

Looks great. I've seen red trucks with the grille painted body color and they look great.
