It's easy just cut out the header panel and pop them it. There's a couple of pics on what to cut. You will also need a 9007 to h13 head light harness. Unless you buy hids like I did and hard wire them in. And you will need screws and a few clips. I bought mine from dfuser to makes things easy. The 05 headlights are very easy to take off compared to the 99 - 04 lights. It's literally just 4 philips screws that hold the headlight in.

That is not true. They connect just like factory. The headlight harness is the one that doesnt not fit and you will need to purchase the connector. I got mine from dfuser. I have done this swap on two of my trucks now. Just recently 2 weekends ago.

I again just printed the pictures of where to cut. lined it out with a sharpie and cut away. took me about 40 min cause i knew what i was doing. Took me about 2 hours the first time just being careful...

Hey zrain--I just ordered my H13 DDMTUNING kit and my 05 harleys--I plan on wiring the HID's like I did on my Polaris RZR where you just insert the little 2 clips of the wires into the headlight harness and tape them up.. But the turn signal issue was brought up in this thread, how do you get the turn signals wired up if they are different from the 2000/2005? Thx Buddy!

I've done 3 sets and never changed out the turn signals. So I'm not sure what the problem is there.
