Color match or chrome front end?

I need to replace my front bumper and headlights and grille. I`m trying to decide between a color matched bumper and grille with smoked lights or an all chrome front grille with a all chrome bumper with out the valance, like the platinum edition bumper and smoked lights. What do you all think?

I don't like the all chrome grills for the 99-2004's I think they look cheep. I think color matched would be sweet.

Thanks!! I know alot of guy`s like to upgrade to the 05-07 look. I like the 99-04 look the best and since mines an 02 I want to keep it that way. I plan on color matching the rear bumper if I go color match in the front.

If you color matched, would you match to the truck or the flames?

I think coloring matching to the flames would be sweeeet! Not sure how the rear bumper would look painted pear silver? Here is the rear of my truck.

Thanks for the help! I have decided to go with color over chrome, but I`m leaning towards matching the flames with the pear silver instead of the truck color dark shadow gray. I will be awhile before I get it done, I`m getting my dead 4r100 tranny built first thats ($5000). So after that I`ll get it done. I need to buy a paintable grille and front bumper and smoked headlights, paintable rear bumper also.

My truck is actually in the body shop right now getting some rust fixed as well as painted front and rear bumpers, and painted grill.
I have the front bumper and the lower valance both painted. also, my buddy lightly sand blasted my chrome grill and painted it that way. he did it on his and it's held up great for over a year so he did mine the same way

new rear

the lower piece painted just sitting atop of my old chrome one on the stand
