Hi guys,
I bought a 2000 F350 recently, and I'm in the process of fixing it up for a daily driver and to haul a livestock trailer. I have a question about upgrading the headlights. I bought the conversion kit off ebay to change to the 2005-2007 lights. I'm not keen on cutting the header panel. If I bought the 2005 plastic header panel, will my current grill fit correctly with my ranch hand style bumper, or will I need a different grill? Thanks for the help. I just joined the site and I'm looking forward to getting informed! |

look up on the exterior forums page neer the top, i made 05-07 conversion instructions.
youll need to cut the header panel to make your grille properly clip to the bottom the older grilles have 3 clips, newer have 5, if you didnt live so far away i have a spare thats already cut. |

Thanks for the help!
I read that thread, and I guess my only question is with my ranch hand bumper thrown into the mix. I understand how to install the new header panel and lights. When it comes to the grill and bumper, though, that's where I have a question. Am I better getting a 05-07 grill too, and if so will I have to cut it so the bumper goes back on? Is it easier to just modify the plastic header panel by cutting a couple of spots on the bottom of it to accommodate the old style grill so as not to interfere with the bumper? If so, where do I cut? I guess I'm trying to do a partial 05-07 front end, not a full change, so its a little weird. I love the big bumper though and definitely want to keep it! |

Its very easy to cut the panel. Just follow the cut out guide

OK, so it looks like cutting the header panel to get the headlights to fit is going to be the best way to make this setup work with the Ranch hand bumper. Thanks.

It depends on what bumper you have. My old trucks front replacement fit 99-2007 may want to look up what year models yours is for.
