Get paint code without door jamb sticker????

Getting ready to start dent/rust repair on my 01 with 265K. Problem is how do i get my paint code when the door jamb sticker is worn out? I have heard that you can't get the code with the VIN. HELP PLEASE!!!!

There is a VIN on a metal plate in front of the driver side of the dash, at base of windshield and dash.

Take a picture of it and make sure to back up the picture so you can get to it even if one of your hard drives crash.

That's what I did. Took a picture of my door sticker, my engine sticker, and other important stuff.

I think he is saying that he cant read the door jamb sticker now. Post up a pic of your truck. Someone will know what it is.

I did finally find a thread that said the dealership can find it with the VIN. We will see how that goes Monday!! Thanks!!!
