Just ordered my 08 tow mirrors!?!

Pretty excited, the reason I got them cause some dumb**** in a Cummins, decided he wanted to high five with his deer antler looking tow mirror, lol. Then he had the nerve to keep driving so I flipped around and turned the chip up and caught up to his weak 2 cylinder lacking, 24v. And I flipped a lil bit... We swapped info then I left. It totally wrecked my mirror though.

So... To the point, I have heated, power windows. I ordered manual basic 08 mirrors with no wiring. Anything I should know for install other than grind plastic triangle off and unplug my wires??

Sorry about repost, just wanted to share my story

That sucks, I would have been pissed!! But upgrades are always nice! I have the manual ones on my truck and there is nothing to the install, remove old mirror, cut off peg from the 08 and install. Big difference in viewable area with the 08's

That's what I'm talking about, they kinda remind me of the DMax mirrors, which I like, lol

They are so much nicer! It was my easiest install yet. Here's a pic, makes my truck look pissed off!
