Putting 18" wheels on a 03" 2wd

The guy across the street is selling his 18" tires off his 06' F250, Im interested in them but have a few questions. My dad had a set of 17" on his 01' F250 2wd and I know the front tires rubbed on the wheel wells when he turned. So Im assuming that the 18" will rub as well? If I get a levelling kit and lift the front end of my truck up 2" will this prevent the rubbing of the tires on the wheel wells? Also any idea how many MPG I would lose going from the stock 16" to the 18" tires? Im getting about 17mpg in the city right now.
Thanks,

as far as mpg im not sure. But if you get a leveling kit you will be fine with the 18s. No seed to worry about it.
