08+ Tailgate camera question

I have a question. I have an 01 CCSB and I am in the process of getting a 08+ tailgate. I am getting one with the step and camera. What do I need to hook the camera up to my Edge Insight?

i just got an 09 tailgate for my early 99 i was also wondering the same thing, or if it is easy to install the same mirror that displays the backup camera.

roc87 - the camera is getting the reverse signal from the radio then rather than the camera being powered only when in reverse?

The camera is wired so there's power to it with the ign on (not acc) and yes, the reverse signal is going to the radio rather than the camera. The AVICD3 has a button to show the camera whenever you want as well which makes it handy to check your trailer while driving, see exactly how close the jerk is behind you or seeing when the strap gets tight when pulling elm tree roots. I'll have to look around at my past posts, but I found that reverse wire somewhere either under the drivers side dash or near the drivers side firewall

sounds good. im actually looking at a front camera as well to the head unit. my 3100 dvd has 2 video in but i also have the edge cts with video in as well.
