Question Anybody using OEM switches on their 08-2011 towing mirrors

I have been searching to find out if anybody has successfully hooked up the OEM power fold/telescoping switches in there pre 2008 truck? I have seen several get the functions working using after market switches but have not seen any using the OEM switches. I will be installing 2009 FX4 door panels in my 02 F350 and I want to try and use all the OEM switches. I found info for getting the new power window switches to work but lacking the door lock and power mirrors.

Really youd just need to wire up some relays, or get the wire diagram from a newer truck and copy it.

I have the wiring diagram from the newer truck (mirror swithes) but it shows the switches running to the SJB (Smart Junction Box) which my rig does not have. I lack any diagrams/pinouts for the power door locks an windows.

I got all my wiring ran last night and have the turn signals and marker lights hooked up and working already so I guess I will just wait on my door panels and try to hook everything up when they come in this week. I just thought somebody else may have installed new door panels and used all the OEM switches. I think I have everything figured out but the power door locks. I still can't find a pinout and wiring diagram for the new 2009 door lock switches. I was told by someone on another forum that because of the SJB they would not work as it supposedly controls voltage sent to the switch but I don't want to believe that

I know they've been done. and ive seen it work. it would just take a pen and some paper to draw a diagram to make it work..

The motor works like a window motor id suspect, apply voltage one way and ground the other wire they go out, swap it and they should come in.

I got all my wiring ran last night and have the turn signals and marker lights hooked up and working. My old towing mirrors did not have signals and were pretty basic so I had to run new wire for the new features. Unless somebody chimes in with some info on using the OEM switches, I will just wait on my door panels and try to hook everything up when they come in this week. I think I have everything figured out but the power door locks. I still can't find a pinout and wiring diagram for the new 2009 door lock switches. I was told by someone on another forum that because of the SJB they would not work as it supposedly controls voltage sent to the switch but I don't want to believe that. Here are a few pics of my mirrors installed.

New wire I ran for the additional features

Tapping in for signals

And then there was LIGHT

I am really liking these new mirrors. They work so much better than my old ones

I am going to be getting me some of those mirrors too this spring. Found a company on eBay selling the new style mirrors already wired to the 99-07 so it just plug and play. Keep
Us updated on the door panels. Nice rig there too.

you dont need to do much, no extra wiring if you get the ones without power fold etc.

if you have a 6.0L with signal mirrors no extra wiring is needed, swap the plugs ( i cant remember if there the same from these ) from your mirrors to the new mirrors. done.
