quick question about mirrors

My truck as tow mirrors already but no turn signal. I need to know how to wire that up. Does anyone know if wiring up the mirrors from a 05 would be the same as the wiring from an 08-11? I like the look of the older mirrors more than the new square ones.

No, the wiring is different on all 3 mirrors, each generation has more wires for more functions, basically on the 05 mirrors your going to have to hardwire the 3 original wires from your old mirrors, tap for your heated mirrors, and run the other wire under the steering column and hook into your signal for each side.

Thanks. I figured it was different for each one, but wasn't sure. I didnt think the 08's would be the same.
