..... F350 questions

Hi folks. I just recently purchased a '00 F350 and was wondering a few things. I noticed that most of the other trucks that I've seen on this site have fog lights and also the lights on top of the cabin.

Any idea why my truck doesn't have them? Did it not come with them? I see no switch inside nor a place where a switch used to be, however, I realize that doesn't mean that it never had them.

Comments?

Tim

The stock switch for fog lights looks like this, and you just pull the whole switch out to turn them on.

If they are not there tho, I doubt the switch will work, you can either buy stock ones or aftermarket ones and install them. The cab lights are common, but not on all models. If they were on the truck at some point there would be screws or holes in the roof. They turn on whenever the parking lights or headlights are on.

yep mine doesn't have the foglight switch like what is above. :-( I guess I'll have to add some.

Mine has the fog light switch and it pulls out and the wiring. It never had fog lights on it. My BIL was the original owner. He said the truck never came with the driving lamps

Correction. Mine "SUPPOSED" to have foglights I guess I wasn't pulling out on the headlight switch hard enough. Mine pulls out but there's no fog lights. Would someone be kind enough to show me a picture of where the foglights are mounted?

Thank you.

Thank you. So I have been reading and although I have the pull out switch on my headlight switchie thingie (techie term), I guess some of the trucks didn't come with the lights.

I think it depended on the trim package whether it had them or not. Not 100% sure on that though
