heated mirrors

my truck has the nonheated, nonturn signal mirrors. what will it take, wiring wise, to make heated mirrors work? also, will 08-10 mirrors work on my 2000? anyone got any pics with these mirrors?

You will need to run one wire each for heat, turn and running lights. You also have to decide how to activate the heat function. You could use a switch, timer, always on or some combination. The 08 mirrors will work, IIRC there is a small notch on the back of the mirror that you have to clip off and the direction of the mirror is opposite of the switch unless you rewire it.
