06 towing mirrors on 03

So... I've searched around here trying to find the info I'm looking for but either I'm not looking for rite thing or I'm overlooking what I'm looking for. haha

I have a 2003 F-250 CCLB 7.3L XLT
I came across a set of towing mirrors off of a 2006 F-350 for really good price so I snagged them since lets be honest the 03.5-07 mirrors look much better then the pre 03 towing mirrors.

My problem is wiring them in so the heat, markerlights, blinkers, and the adjustment functions all work properly
My truck has power mirrors from factory so I have the wiring for the adjustment functions
Do I have to just make my own harness for the rest
What color wires do what?
Is there a write up or wiring diagram somewhere for this?
I've seen 00's, 01's etc. on here that have 03.5-07 mirrors

Any info would be great
If you guys need anymore info that I left out just let me know

are the wires the same between the 08-10 as the 04-07 colorwise an functionwise?

I know the wire colors for the mirror functions that are standard on these trucks are the same as listed on the thread. As far as the actual wire colors on the new mirrors, I THINK they are the same. If I were you, I would read over the thread first, then open up your door panels and then inspect the wiring to see if any of it matches. It's been a while since I've done it, but it was easy enough for me to figure out. Once you dig in and get a feel for what's going on inside the door, I think you'll see what I'm talking about.

On my 03-07 mirrors (kool-vue brand) this was the wiring:

Driver's side: Brown=marker light
Green=signal light
Blk/wht tracer=heat


Pass. side: Brown=marker light
Wht=signal light
Blk/wht tracer=heat


Truck Wires: Underside of steering column:

Wht/Blue tracer: Right Side Signal
Light Green/Wht tracer: Left Side Signal

Truck Wires: Light Switch on the Dash: Dark Brown: Parking lights

Btw, don't forget the ground, w/o it the lights and such won't work. On mine the ground was solid black.

Also, when you start the project, cut off the factorty plug from the mirror and solder it to the new mirror so that the mirror function wires are plug-n-play. Just match color for color and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I've gotta look into that. My mirrors came on mine when I bought it, but they aren't connected. I really want to get those lights hooked up.
