will this lift work?????

I have a 99 mfd 2/99 and when ever i see lifts to purchase from the net they want to know the production date pre march 99 or post mar 99.But they clasify them as 99-04 its confusing and i have read that the u-bolts are diff on some if thats the only diff seems like an easy fix? i was wondering why is this and will a lift from a 02 fit my truck(my buddie has a 6in fabtec that i could basicly have) but it came from an 02. dont want to get it all torn apart and have it not work..

I don't see why it would not work. If the only thing that is different is U-bolts. Then get the proper U-bolts to work with the lift.

I have heard that the u-bolts are different, but I think there also make be something different about the front leaf spring shackles....not sure but here is a bump!
