headlights and grill

ive seen alot of people are upgrading to the 07 front clips. i am wondering what mods i have to do to the factory header panel to make the 07 grill and headlights fit. i dont want to change the bumper because i like my straight chrome one. will the 07 grill fit with the old school bumper. i have a 99 by the way. ive heard u have minor cuttin on the header and the headlights and grill bolt up. just want to make sure before i buy everything. also what kind of wireing changes must i do for the headlights. thanks

You will have to cut the bottom of the grill to get it to fit. The wiring is is just puttin the new style plugs on the end of the wires already there. If you cruise around ebay you can find the grills that have already been cut to fit your bumper.

From what I heard you only have to cut like an 1/8th of an inch off the bottom but I could be wrong. Man I love having a dremel tool! I just might try this I have a cracked one in the bed of my truck right now!
