New bed

I have a 03 f250. I was wondering if I can switch out my regular bed out for a 8' long bed? What will I need to make this happen? Thank you guys for any input.

You need the frame the 8ft bed came off of. If you want an 8 ft you might as well sell the current truck you have and buy one with an 8 ft bed.

Yep. I could see that being REALLY expensive to convert. I have a friend that cut and extended the rear of his frame to allow for a longer flatbed. It was still expensive since the frame, driveshaft, brakelines, etc had to be fabbed too. Might try one of the custom tow truck companies to give you an idea?

Welcome to the board BTW.
