painting my grill today!!!

Did my badges yesterday took less time then i thought. i am planning on painting my grill today as well any helpfull hints. i figure it will take me the better part of 5 hours. is 2 primer coats and 3 top coats enough?

Sounds good to me just make sure you do a good job at prepping it. As in sanding and cleaning the grill.

just put the last coat on and my arm is dead from pushing that button so much ill put some before and after pics up as soon as i get it on there.

It took me about 2 hours to do mine. I kinda rushed it though. Took it off, lightly sanded it down, hosed it off, let it dry, taped off the FORD embellem, primered one coat of flat black, lightly sanded after it was dry, wiped it off with a damp cloth, painted it with some flat black bumper paint, let it dry, and reinstalled. It was pretty easy but I'm going to redo it. I need to sand it a little better and do more coats. But it looks AWESOME!

all done came out pretty good took me just around 4.5 hours heres a before and after i am going to put the clear lamps and the other corner in the morning then it will really be done.
