New tires... Questions

Ive got a 02 F350 4X4. Friend of mine gave me some pretty good tires cause mine are bad! The only prob is they are 315/75/16, and I still have my stock wheels and no lift. Anyone know if a 2" lift would be good enough to clear or will I have to go to a 4". Also should I get a wider wheel to accommodate the wider tire? If so, what offset should I get?

That is a 35/12.5/16, so they should fit with just a leveling kit. Not sure how wide stock wheels are, but they should fit pretty good on a 9" wide wheel.

Good Luck!

think the stock wheels are 7" wide. Is a leveling kit just for the front?

yes leveling kits are just for the front but if you go with like a 3.5" shackle lift up front and a add a leaf in the rear you get a nice ride hight... thats exactly what i have on my truck and im running 315 75 R17 take a look at my garage to see if you like how it looks... if your interested i can price you a shackle lift with an add a leaf for the rear
