Best CB Antenna

I am looking for a good quality antenna. One that will mount to the hood or one that is magnetic. I am looking at the Firestick, but i am not sure what is best. 50 dollars max including shipping. I am not looking for the absolute best, but one that will preform well for the money. Also, i am not sure how to ground an antenna. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I have a Cobra 29LTD classic (Made in 1994). Thanks.

I have a 4ft firestick and i think it works well.

you dont have to ground the anttena,if you do your swr's will all be outta whack,and if you want i can send you a whisper 5000,DO NOT PURCHASE A FIRESTICK,granted they look cool as hell,i guess you cud use one but if you take it to your local cb man he will want to pull copper out the top to get your swr's workin properly,ive got bout 1500 bucks in my radio,hell youve prob heard me on a clear night,get your self a all steel whip(anntena)these are the best and cheap,i think bout 25 err 30 clams will get ya one

Excuse my ignorance, but i am guessing a whisper 5000 is an antenna. I cant find any info on it.

I have a Wilson 5000 and i love it. It works flawlessly.

you wont find em on the web,i couldnt,i bought mine at a place called pete lands in clanton al,if you go to a loves err any truck stop should have em,it does not have to be that name brand,any steel whip will do,they also have them in a very long package,get the 4 footer,your only runnin 4 watts of power,any more power and you wud need the 6 footer

Think i am going to drop the cash on this Firestik II FS CB Antenna - $19.95

it has an adjustable tip.

I am getting the 4 or 5 footer in red. It got great reviews and is priced good.
