front bumper project(FINISHED!!)

Well, I finally got to start on my front bumper. Started by making some mounts, then cut out cardboard templates. Then I traced the templates out on a 1/8 steel plate and cut it with my bud's plasma cutter. We welded the middle and only tacked on the side pieces. Gonna finish up one side and tear it down to trace the opposite side. Still have a lot to go. I'll post some more pics when I get them.

ahhh.....don't think so Logan and Bigcountry

Thanks Abobb and Stump

It should be finished in time for the meet. There is no way I would attempt to do this with my torch. My hands aren't steady enough. That plasma cutter is awesome! Wish I had the cash to buy me one.

Well I guess I will have to go talk to my buddy that owns a steel fab shop and have him cut the steel up for me then I will have to weld up my own.

I was hoping you would do it to save me time.

It does look sweet though. you got any future plans to add a brush gaurd to protect the grill and lights.
