Bed Bolts.. WTF
So yesterday I was sweeping out my dad's short bed truck and notice he has 8 bed bolts in his.
Yet my 8 foot bed has only 6 bolts...So my bed is bigger, heavier and allows for more storage yet needs less fastening?... Can someone enlighten me on this!

ok well my dads has 6 its a 03 350 shortbox, BUT the truck was jack knifed when we got it and the original box had 8

Quick hijack:
I am getting my tools n chit together to do the Harpoon mod (via bed lift method) but due to hitch and @*%&# stock bed liner I cannot see the bed bolts. IIRC these bolts are Torx. Anybody know what size? Once completed I'll tell ya how many bolts I have. Thanks! End hijack.
