im stupid plz help!!!

if i go with a leveling kit do i have to change my shocks? if not is there a limit of how far up i can go before i do have to? i have a 2002 f350 cc. sorry about all the stupid questions but i really have no clue!!!! i know the rear of my truck sits quite a bit higher than the front!! i have 8.5 inches between the tire and wheel well in the front and 11.5 inches in the back. so i think i need about 3 inches, i maybe wrong about how im doing this!! i was told to jack up the front til it was level then measure but i dont have access to a jack at the moment!!! i moved to florida and its still in michigan!!! i going to get it this month so i will have it though. if anyone can help me it will be appreciated!!!!http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/ima...umb%5B1%5D.gif

..just get a leveling kit, most can re-use shocks..or get a nice set of bilsteins or something!
