early99 w/ paddle mirrors to tow mirrors
I have an early 99 F350 Sept.99 with paddle mirrors. They have the electric adjustments. I found some duel folding power mirrors from Rockauto.com. from a 2002 Superduty. Is the plug in the same. I haven't taken the door panel off to check what shape of plug-in I need. Can the newer mirrors just plug in or do I need an adapter.
Thanks |

I did mine in the Summer and they were the same plug. I think the place you would run into problems is when you get the new ones with the turn signals in them or the 08 Mirrors, then youd have to splice. You should be fine

even if the plugs were not the same you could just splice into your pre exisiting one.. i made a write up for 08 mirrors but also it will work for the 02 style, same mirror wire colours

I just changed to tow mirrors today. The mirrors, I purchased from Flebay. The mirrors were $135 shipped. They fit great and yes, the plug was the same. Took all of 30 minutes to do both of them.
