RBP GRILL & TIP

I'm doing the 05-07 front end conversion. I want to buy the RBP RX Black ford super duty grill 05-07 with the studs. I have the 6" tip but the powder coding sucks. I'm going to paint over it and clear it. Is the powder coding on the grill this bad also? I love the looks of them.

Thats pretty sad if RBP can't powdercoat their stuff for crap.
Thats a nice sized tip and all but I dont like how they have their logo smack dab in the middle of it. JMO

Autoanything.com is where I bought the tip at. Guess thats where I will buy the grill also. You can take the logo off if you want with this tip.

DOX I feel your pain, I had the same problem with my RBP tip. After about a week or so the powder coating was popping off. You are right the powder coating they are using blows. I was so pissed that I actually returned mine. But of course I was stuck with the return shipping charges. I love how I have to take a financial loss on a company's defective product, BS! I hope you have better luck with the grill. I also ordered my tip from autoanything, they were the cheapest at the time.

You would think as many complants RBP has recieved on there powder coating they would change it. Maybe they have and we just got and old tip out of the warehouse from autoanything.com. This just happend to me on some Recon lights the smoke in the lens was not as dark as the sameone's I orded directly from recon. Recon let me keep the old leds and sent me the new one. If someone gets a chance to call RBP and ask post what they say. RBP number is 951-272-9090 I have been wanting to call but have no cell service during the day at work. If they have fixed the problem I will send this tip back for an exchange. Save me some painting time.
