05 Lookalike grille

My buddy at school has this on his truck. Says it just bolted over the existing grille and looks to have good fitment. The one for 209 is a replacement basically. For people not afraid of cutting an 05-07 grille this is not really cost effective, but I purchased the 139 grille and didn't run the risk of ruining a perfectly good 05-07 grille. Hope someone else finds this helpful.

I don't think that is an actual grille. That's for the open spaces inside the existing grille and they just used the 05-07 grille for a picture. The cheaper kit says its 6 pieces and the more expensive kit goes behind the existing grille. Pretty much like a Carriage Works or others inserts.

Thats what I was thinking when my buddy sent me the link, but his looks exactly like that on his 00 f350. I will post pics and let everyone know exactly what was involved in about a week.

yea buddy i think this is just the "billet inserts" but they are covers instead of cutting the original plastic back covers. but im not certain

yes they are billet inserts,the one for 209 is where you cut the center grill at the two bars and ford emblem,you eliminate that and have the one piece look with the two outer holes,(hense ..."covers all three holes") and the one you bought just gets bolted inside the crome over your exsisting mesh,hope this helps,and it should look great
