black paint and clear coat or spray in bed liner

I have chrome side steps on my truck and ...im not a fan of chrome ....

so you guys get to decide what i will do or have in put on what is best

I'm also gonna type up a how to on painting over chrome

im evetually gonna have my rockers rhino lined (i might do it my self)
but idk if the texture of bedliner will match though i can always get new steps

so decide:

Black with a clear coat over it

Spray in bed liner

Do nothing

I would say bed liner. thats what i am plannin on doing to mine.

Ya I would say the spray in bedliner also. That is some tough stuff that holds up very well.

On my last truck I installed smittybuilt tubular sidesteps with what they called a "textured" finish. It was a light coat of black line-x and I loved them. The new ones are chrome and I also don't like chrome.
