05 lights

Hey guys I am looking to put the 05 lights in my truck and possibly later the whole front conversion. What all has to be cut to make the 05 lights fit and do I need to do anything with the wiring to make the bulbs work or would I use the bulbs from my stockers?

I got the wiring harness to run the 05 headlight bulbs from Dfuser, the other 2 smaller bulbs from your current lights just plug back into the 05 headlight housings. And I trimmed the 99-04 header panel with a Dremel, took maybe 1.5 hours and was just taking my time. I also did the headlights a few months before the full grill and bumper conversion. I am now just thinking of getting the 05 header panel to completely finish it off.

Do I have to use the bulbs from the 05s for the lows and high beams or can I use the ones from my lights now. If I can all I need is that headlight pack then? Just want to be sure I have everything

You need the actual bulbs for the 2005 high/low beams, I think its the H13. And the 99 style bulbs were something like 9006 or 9007. The after market conversion harness like the one Dfuser sells runs the new lights straight off the battery and it very easy to install.

hey man this template is perfect, dont follow anyone elses. just take the old lights out, and cut that. then put the new ones in. or u can buy all of the 05 parts including the header panel and they will all fit together with no cutting
