Gonna build one of these.

I think I'm gonna just build me a bumper like this. At the 4 wheel jamboree these guys were selling these things for $1000 unpainted and 12 or 13 hundred painted! Very nice looking but I can't blow a grand on a bumper right now. My neighbor has a nice shop with a plasma and mig he said I could use. Heck, its only about $100 to $150 worth of material. I'll add a grill guard to it though, so that will bring the price up a little, but not $1000!

I would love to have one of those. I would not think that it would be too tough to build if you have the right tools. See if you can find one that you like, and take some measurements on it, and start with that.

No problem. It will prolly be next month before I do it. You can blame Rod for that. My bumper $$$$ is going into a trip to his get together this month! I'm lucky my friend has all the good stuff to make it. I was going to try it with what I have, but I can't quite cut that good with my torch and his wire welder welds a lot more pretty than my stick.
