Changing '99-04' XL style lights to XLT style

I have a guy that wants to purchase my headlights and chrome factory grille off my '99 XLT tommorrow. He has the XL where you have to change the whole light, not just the bulb. Can he easily install the different style headlights? I'm assuming the plug is different. And is the header panel the same or does it need to be changed also?

Header panel is the same. Wiring is different, the old bulbs were H4s, the new are 9006s if i remember. I was able to buy the parts for the conversion off ebay for about $10. The headlights do need to have the adjusters still on them, in not I bet you can get them from a dealer.
