POLL: mirror poll

[Rockstar Edition]

so I've been thinking of having my mirrors smoothed and color matched.....well here's so ideas you guys please give me your opinions AND reasons why you chose what you did....

options are:
1. stock with chrome cap
2. painted with chrome cap
3. fully painted

here's some pics in the order of the options.





the 4th option would be to paint ONLY the chrome section red.......however there's no picture of that

Out of those options .. id go all red BUT if were up to me .. id make em all black! My 2 cents : )

thanks Neil.....you're VERY helpful lmao......I should have stated no biased votes LOL. it seems to be a very close poll right now, guess we'll see how it turns out soon.......I have about 3 weeks to decide what I'm gonna do.

I would just paint the cap red. I think anything else would look funny...

i had to vote for the stock 08 with chrome cap. i would have chose all black if it were a option. on a colored truck (anything not black) you need something to offset all the color. especially on a brighter vehicle like yours! if you did the mirrors red, in my opinion would not look good at all! the black of the mirrors offsets the truck in a respectable way and makes it look a lot cleaner in my opinion!

thanks man I appreciate it. those chrome caps are removable I just bought them off ebay, but I at least want the chrome cap or something to accent the giant mirror.....but I am taking in all of your opinions and I appreciate them alot.

well, you do have a fair amount of chrome on your truck so it works some! honestly i think the chrome caps would be better if they covered the whole mirror like the ones they make for the 99-07 mirrors!

yeah I looked at those and they looked a little too cheezy for me, plus they only make them for the 08 lighted towing mirrors......so I chose to just accent the mirrors with the chrome.

I think the top painted would look really good, but your truck looks good the way it is as well. Also who photoshops for you or do you do it?
