I got my 05 conversion parts today!!!!

I went to certifit today and got most of my parts.Here goes the list and what I paid(note the price of the lights!!)UPDATE*****
lower paintable bumper 82.00
lower bumper valance 16.00
passenger side bumper support 12.00
HARLEY HEADLIGHTS WITH BULBS(PAIR) 124.00!!!!!
Front bumper mounting plates(pair) 85.00 shipped off ebay
9007 to 9008 headlight harness with relay's 69.99 shipped of dfuser.com
all thats left is the headlight mounting panel that might get impatient and buy from the body shop for $90


The paintable upper bumper piece was a ford only part,I got it from my buddy who owns a body shop for $135.He also got me the driver side bumper support from ford(certifit did not have in stock) for $14.00.certifi did not have my paintable grill either, so my buddy could only find it at ford for $90.They didn't have the headlight panel in stock either.When they get it(2-4 weeks),it's only $42.My buddy couldn't find it any cheaper than $90 so I'm debating whether to cut my orginal one or just wait to certifit gets one in....

Do I still need to get the bumper mounting brackets or will my stock ones work?certifit didn't have a listing for them and my buddy said they were $82 a peice at his cost.The parts I got from him will be in tomorrow.Getting painted monday for $100 bucks!!!
Also, I looked on dfuser.om for my headlight conversion wiring,but I don't know what to get?Can somebody tell me what to or order? Do I need a wiring kit for the 05 foglights aswell???

Can I just kit this kit and be good?

if I do I'm getting the 55w kit.8000k,h13 high and low beam.
Do I need anything else?relays kits,etc, or does this kit come with everything I need? I don't know anything about this stuff,LOL!

all the brackets are different for the 05 bumper. you need a adapter for the headlights that go from a 9007 bulb to a H-13. the fog lights are the same plug. hope this helps.

thanks.I did some more googl'in and found the other brackets I needed.Just need to find somewhere to buy them cheap.Would the hid kit work inplace of the adapter harness or do I still need the harness?

i looked at the kit you had linked and i would recomend getting the hid kit wiring harness at the bottom of the page so you dont melt the factory wiring. the kit i bought came with one.

Do you need the bumper supports AND mounding brackets? Cause I have the 07 bumper (painted), 07 grille, 07 headerpanel, and 07 harley lights with adaption harness. I just got it all in but i'm waiting on install to make sure i have everything

you dont have to run the bumper supports if you dont want to but i did. but you must have the 05-07 bumper mounting brackets.

neil, find someone near one of the other certifits and have them ship you your parts.....quite honestly, Id wait to do the conversion til you get the right header panel......you can sell your stock parts and make some money back.
