to the guys with the fog light parking light mod....

I just did the ridin dirty mod.It was super easy and quick. It works great but when I turn the brights on the fogs still go off? This mod should do the same as the bright box mod aswell(from what the original thread says)Foglight and Hi-Beam Mod but I can't seem to get them to stay on?
Did this happen to anyone else?

How did you do your mod? For me I just ran a jumper between the fog light and parking light wires behind my switch...my fog lights stay on all the time(parking lights, low beam and high beam)

I did it just link the link I posted.Spliced the yellow wire to a toggle, brown wire to the toggle, then grounded the toggle so It would light up(didn't have to do this, just did so the switch would illumanate).Every things works great except the high beams/fogs at the same time. The guy that wrote the mod up did his the same way and his work with the brights.I just need to know what to do from here.Should I do the bright box mod now or do I just need to splice on more wire?

I'm not to sure cause I didn't do mine that way...I just ran a jumper from the fog light wire to the parking light wire going into my switch...this is a whole lot easier and will keep the fogs on with everything

so you just pulled the switch out, spilced a wire into the yellow wire and ran it into the brown wire? And that runs the fog lights with the brights aswell as the fog lights with parking lights only....that's real easy,I can't beleive no one just said to do that in the right ups.I guess I just drilled a hole in my dash for the toggle for nothing.I hate toggle switches too!!! I debated on doing this mod for a awhile just because I didn't want to use a toggle.****

Well i'm not sure what colors my wires are...but yea...i just t'd the wire into the parking light wire and into the fog light wire...this will turn your fog lights on with your parking lights, and they'll stay on with your low and high beams...only thing is you don't have the option to turn the fog lights off...if your parking lights are on, your fogs are on, but I don't care about that, i like them being on all the time.

I'm not positive in your situation. I didn't have to do anything for my fogs to come on with my parking lights. It came like that stock. I did have to do the link I gave you earlier to make the fogs stay on with the highs though.
