HID conversion who has done it?

Hey all, Merry xmas and happy hollidays BTW. anyways, I found a very good deal on a new HID setup for my pickup. I have the 03-04 headlights and eventually want to go to the single piece 05-07 lights. Will the HIDs work in the newer style single piece lights? thanks.

Built engine, rods, pushrods, cam, springs. Meth, turbo, injectors, fuel system, oil system. 3 disk billet, billet shafts built trans, 6.0 IC, exhaust, intake. Latter bars, gears, system, tint, HIDs. You know the typical stuff to make a 7.3 get out of its own way... dont brake.

no they will not. the 05 newer lights require a h13/9008 bulb. the 03-04 require the 9007 bulb

02 f-250 ext cab lb xlt with leather. bts trans, dp-tunes,afe stg 2, 6" lift, 37" bfg km2 on some 18" black wheels. 05 front end, 08 center console, amp steps. cobalts, JL and focals for sound

ok thanks man. Would I be able to just buy new bulbs to fit the 05 headlights and still fit into my HID ballast harness? Do you have HIDs? Im trying to find a good spot to mount the ballasts.

I have converted my headlights and foglights to 6000K HID lights. My fog lights are adjusted high enough and bright enough I can drive at night with them and cops don't bother me at all (knock on wood). I love them, one of the best mods I ever did.

I drove around with 8000k HIDs for atleast a year and a half in my Taurus (and they were 55w, BRIGHT as ever) and never once got pulled over. Then I put them in the truck when I got it, had them for like two months or so, and my passenger side housing caught fire (yes, they were in right).. But again, never got pulled over..

2002 F350 7.3
PHP FU, Isspro's, DIY Intake, 5" Stacks, WW, 08 Mirrors/Gate/Tails.. etc
Pics and full list of mods ~HERE~
Waltham, MA

Looking for an 8 foot bed in the New England area!
If you have one, or know who does, please PM me.
