Headlights???

im puttin 06 headlights in my 99 but i want to pull them apart and black out the cgrome on the inside. how can i do this??

just buy harley lights they already have that done

if i had the money to do that i would. but i dont. these were given to me

there is a way of opening them, But I cant remeber how, let me see if i can find it.

put them in an oven on 450 or so for a few minutes and then they should pull apart fairly easy just make sure not to leave them in to long or they will discolor

or they will start to melt. A guy on the chevy forum done it and had someone knock on his door and it stayed in the oven to long. He ended up with a nice plastic sculpture.

ok so say five mins would be good?? an then do the same thing to reseal them?

I dont know how long but I wouldnt leave them out of my sight.
also I beleive you silicone them back together
