Red face passenger side tailgate hinge

Believe it or not, my passenger tailgate hinge broke. Ebay does not seem to have them. Any ideas where to find one? And my tailgate was bent so I threw it away. Any ideas for a tailgate?

What do you mean by hinge? I don't understand... Are you talking about the cable? You need to tell us what your truck is when asking about parts.

Sorry...

My truck is a Ford F-350 2000 model. On the passenger side there is a male piece that the tailgate pivots on. It has 2 bolts that secure it to the bed of the truck. The male portion broke and the tailgate dangles. The cables are fine. The top pieces are fine.

Any decent salvage yard should be able to help you. If you want a new one LMC has one in thier catalog....

Its called a roller.. I actually just got one today from the dealer for $14.00. Trust me, salvage yards wont have it. Your alot better off just going to the dealer.

Part # F65Z-99430B38-AA

Genuine unused Ford part for $14.00

Well, if you found a destroyed bed at a junk yard you could get one. But for $14 I'd save the trouble and get new!
