3/98 door sticker...will 99-04 level kit fork?

i have a 3/98 ford f-350 powerstroke. same body style as the 99-04, straight front axle of course, front leaf springs, etc.

i found a add-a-leaf level kit for 99-04, i just wanted to make sure that "98" and 99-04 are the same suspension. ive searched all over. thank you.

The truck you have, although built in '98 is called an early '99. Most companies just start with '99 to eleminate some confusion with the split year. If it is a SuperDuty, '99 parts will work.

the early 99 is made pre 4/99

the difference is the early has square ubolts smaller track bar bolts and diffrent pitman arm.

but most leveling kits will have springs and shocks which will work all 99-2004

just ubolts and track bar bracket if equipped you will need to watch for.

you wont be able to use the track bar bracket unless you get a track bar from a 99.5-04 and redrill the hole on the axle bracket.

so dont worry about that

the ubolts on the early 99 are square so the ubilts wont work either, but with a single add a leaf you can usually reuse the stock ubolts. just add some loctite to be safe.
