05 Suspension Conversion ?'s

What all in need to do this? and is there anyone out there who does it? I have two trucks i would like to have it done on. But i need someone to do it......Can anyone give me an approximate cost for parts and labor for this job??

what do you mean you have 2 trucks? do you have complete donor truck? of not it might just be cheaper to just buy a 4 link coil conversion for it

theres a lift kit company that sells the coil conversion but its expensive. i think about $4k just for the kit.

No not a donor truck. I have a 99 and 02 that i was considering converting....but if it's 4k a piece then maybe not lol.

skyjacker makes a kit... i think its about 2800 for the kit and it lifts it to 6"

Still too steep for me lol. I guess I was just thinkin somthing different in my head. So the best thing to do would be to find a donor truck i guess?

yup.. your going to need everything including the front axle to make the conversion... seeing how you need that most people charge about 1k just for the axle...

ok well that pretty much wraps that idea up. i didnt realize it had to be so in depth to make that work. I really appriciate the info. thats another mod put on the backburner for when my everyday truck turns into the prize truck. Thanks again.

I had seen a whole front axle set up out of an 05 in the Dallas Craigslist for $500 buck with everything. It was out of a wrecked truck and they had cut the frame right behind the trailing arm brackets. I found the link.
