2005 conversion

i am doing my 2005 conversion for christmas this year all i need is the grille and bumper. i am ordering a custom 05 grille that will pop right into my 2001 header panel.

i am going to get the bumper from certifit but i have a question...

Do all of the 2005 bumpers stick out past the fender wells?? is this only on certain years? i have seen some 2005 conversions that look VERY FLUSH and others that have been modified to size everything up but it still looks kind of OFF.

thanks!

look at my sig...it's a complete bolt on procedure, and don't go get the grille that clips into the header panel( you'll spend more money on the custom grille than you would the header panel AND the grille from either certifit or a custom billet grille). I paid 62 dollars shipped for my grille I have on now. I can't see the pics in my sig( Im at work ) but I think it has my billet grille. look around, I got my grille so cheap cause it has a crack right where it mounts, but you can't even see it when it's mounted, it's completely hidden.

yep don't get that grille... . just get a normal one. Yes almost all of the 05 bumper stick past the fenders, they don't line up very well in both directions.

yeah if you want a full fit job and not a half@ss job than go get the grille and headerpanel from certifit. everything is COMPLETE BOLT ON. it's everything I used on mine* well not this grille * my old one was a certifit. I paid 72 dollars for my old 05-07 KR style grille....the oulaw style grille is 42 dollars right now and that's paint to match other than the center section....and the header panel was 42 dollars....if you want non half@ssed Id say go away from having your headlights ziptied in, Im sure that looks awesome when you look under your hood. do it the right way and spend 80 dollars over your 230 dollars. kind of a no brainer there.

just caught this, I am doing the same thing over christmas break.

Can I use my header panel and install the 05 grill w/o problems??
To install 05 headlights I will have to trim header panel, correct?
besides the harness from gosracing.com is there anything involved in this procedure?

thanks
