05 Conversion Questions

So i have a grill and within the next few months will be getting a bumper. My plan is to buy a winch bumper that fits 05-07 trucks. Will this bumper just bolt up, or is there somthing slightly different with how they mount? If so, what is this/ how hard is it to do? Aslo, will 05-07 lights fit w/out modifying anything?
Thanks

For the lights i know if you dont buy the header panel you have to trim a little bit but I do not think its very bad at all.

I was gonna go with the trailready bumper. but i would think that the mount would have to be the same.

the bumper will just bolt up the same. There is just going to be additional clearance for the grille to fit behind it.

I don not think anything will have to modified other then trimming behind the headlights but that is easy.

they advertise the bumpers 99-04 and 05-07 because the middle section is different. the grille doesn't go down quite as far on a 99-04 as it does on the 05-07. if you use the 99-04 bumper you'll have to trim the grille....probably not worth it if you're going with a new bumper anyway.

I HIGHLY suggest using a new header panel, they're cheap enough to buy and if you dont use the header panel your grille won't clip in at the bottom, and you have to ziptie it in place. I got my header panel from certifit for 41 dollars( my point in saying they're cheap enough ).

Thanks for telling us about Certifit! I got a hood, front right fender and the headlight filler panel today for $167!!! (including tax!)

I would have bought an 05-07 bumper from them but they didn't have any in stock, except a painted one.
