Rust on Wheel Wells
I had chrome trim on the wheel wells of my truck. I just took them off and found out I had rust bubbles on all 4 wheel wells in spots. I sanded them down a little to get rid of the bubbles and put bushwacker flares over them to cover up where I sanded. Do you think it needed to be primed or will it be ok since the flares are covering it up? Will it rust worse or be ok?

It will definately rust again and soon. I had the same rust and i ground mine down to metal and then herculined over it. I found that i had a hole thru in my cab corner and now even though the outside is covered, its rusting from the backside though. You gotta prime over the bare metal.
