05-07 has the best looking front end in all the superduty line ups IMO, grille, headlights, painted upper valance, chrome bumper are all perfectly proportionate to each other.

what im getting at is...07 is still pretty ballin! save some cash, this converstion is wayyy cheaper, and get yourself some other stuff for your truck.. maybe some big tires or somethin.. i unno.. just my

also for the 08+ you need tailgate(i see you got one),taillights, rear bumper, 08 decals, mirrors, etc... $$$$$$

if you got the motivation and the cash then by all means...

What are the part numbers for the 08+ front end? I am looking to do this since my truck got wrecked from the front end. Where can I get 08+ front end parts? I have a body shop that will paint it and I will put it together. Something about radiator support bracket and relocating a few things.

Any tips? Need to figure everything out before the end of tomorrow. Does Certifit.com have anything for 08+ trucks?

Hey I just got back from vacation. Sorry for taking so long to respond. Anyway, I hear what you're saying. It's starting to really make sense, especially because I'm starting to find out that it's going to cost way more than $2K to do the 08+ conversion. Unless I can get lucky and find a real deal on the parts for the 08+ style, I just might switch plans to the 05-07 style which really does look awesome. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will continue to do my homework.

That truck is pretty sweet looking. Do you have any other pictures? I'd like to see a full front view.

Update: I bought the front clip. Thank you 50capriman for the link!

Hey guys, I drove to St. Louis last Sunday (from Chicago) and picked up a front clip off a dude with a body shop. He basically took out all the cooling components and the headlights and sold me the rest. I think I have everything I need to get started, minus the headlights which I'm going to see if I can get off of eBay or here if someone's got some for sale.

Here are the new LED tail lights I put last week:
