8" Lift

So i ran across an 8 inch pro comp lift with adjustable soft ride shocks and front and back leaf springs and pitman arm. my truck is a long bed, so my question is will i require any mods to run an 8" lift? i was under the impression that there was shimming involved or something... any feedback will be appreciated

Usually you will need a longer front DS and sometimes to get rid of the vib's a CV added after the carrier bearing.
